The Practice of Yoga Nidra. This 2 hour workshop is a perfect antidote to winter fatigue. Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of guided relaxation that has a profound effect on the body, the mind and emotions. You will be invited to flow through some basic postures and then relax in a comfortable position while you are guided through various stages of deeper relaxation. As you move toward peacefulness, the practice provides the opportunity to reduce stress, promote emotional and physical healing and increase creativity. You are encouraged to release habitual patterns and move toward your true potential. This process can help support you in achieving clarity and equanimity as you move through stressful and fast paced lives.
Barbara Joseph has taught yoga and meditation for 30 years, including at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts at and at her own Urban Yoga studio in New York.
Cost: $20/$25 with in 24 hours
