Chakras are vortexes of energy located in our body along the
length of our spine. Each chakra corresponds to different physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual aspects of our self.
In this 2 hour practice we will use Yin Yoga postures to stimulate, awaken, cleanse and meditate on these various centers. In Yin Yoga we hold different shapes with our body, according to our own unique structure, for 3-5 minutes at a time. This gives us space to develop a deep awareness as well as physically affect our fascia resulting in increased mobility, stabilization and energy flow.
