In this 100 hour module we will train to see both the physical body as well as the emotional and spiritual energies that our students bring to class, and how important the subtle body is for both teacher and student. Joining knowledge of anatomy and the subtle body we will study therapeutic techniques, so that all our students can be met where they are with intelligence and compassion.
During this training, we will:
introduce the method of ayurveda
study the energetic body including the chakras
discuss the koshas and teaching from this model
practice pranayama and discuss teaching it
explore the energetics of teaching and practicing asana
learn to teach for the nervous system
Kaia Yoga's 300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training program is a comprehensive experience consisting of three 100 Hour Advanced Training Modules. For a 500 Hour Certification, complete all three modules (Looking Inward, The Subtle Body and Expanding Outward) plus required assignments, assists and observations. Each training module focuses on a different aspect of teaching and includes expert guest teachers such as Beryl Bender Birch, Manorama, Joe Miller, Cyndi Lee, Alan Finger, Jean Koerner and Jillian Pranksy. Explore teaching Vinyasa yoga, therapeutics, meditation and philosophy.
Fridays: 6:00 - 9:00pm
Saturdays: 10:00 - 5:00pm
Sundays: 8:30 - 5:00pm

March 7-9 with Jean Koerner
April 4-6 with Jillian Pransky, Gina Norman & Stan Woodman
April 11-13 with Gina Norman & Stan Woodman
Tuition for this program is $1,600. For 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification take this Training along with our "Looking Inward" and "Expanding Outward" trainings for $4,200 total. (a $600 savings off the combined price)
A $500 deposit is required with your application to hold your place for consideration. Once accepted the remainder of the tuition is due.
