She is a graduate of both the University of Connecticut and the Connecticut Healing Institute. Krissy is a firm believer that we as humans are truly three parts – mind, body, and spirit – and her treatments integrate each, combining thoughtful discussions, relaxation techniques, and strong healing energies.
Lisa was certified by the American Reflexology Certification board in 2005 and previously studied reflexology in Hong Kong. In addition to specialized training, including hand and ear reflexology, the Father Josef Method, reflexology for cancer patients, and Vertical Reflexology for pain relief, Lisa is certified in reiki and has studied Bodytalk, jin shin jyutsu, and aromatherapy. She incorporates a variety of techniques into her sessions according to her clients’ needs, taking them on a deeply relaxing journey of self-discovery.
Lou is a graduate of the New York Open Center’s Reflexology certification program studying with American Reflexology Certification Board director Wendy Coad. In addition, Lou has studied with Father Josef Eugster completing the FJM method, Ko Tan of the American Academy of Reflexology, and Oncology Nurse and Certified Reflexology Therapist, Susan Berenson. Lou is member of the International Reflexology Association and the Reflexology Association of Connecticut.
Mark Gutkin L.Ac. MS is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Master Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. He practices traditional Chinese and Korean (SuJok) style acupuncture incorporating Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na bodywork, Eastern Nutrition and lifestyle counseling. Mark specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain and arthritis as well as Digestive and Pre-/Post menopausal issues.
Mikel is a Certified Rolfer and blends techniques learned in his studies beginning in 1995 of Rolfing Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Rolf Movement Integration, Visceral Manipulation, Thai Yoga Massage and Neural Integration into his practice of gentle and effective Bodywork. He strives to bring that same openness to the body to promote ease and balance of posture and movement and help people transform physical and emotional limitations.
Sachi is a Certified Rolfer who began her career in 1999 in Tokyo. Her studies include Rolfing Structural Integration, Rolf Movement Integration, Visceral Manipulation, Biomechanics and Ashibumi. She received her first Rolfing Series in 2002 and discovered that as her body gained integrity, her attitude toward life changed. She combines gentle manipulation with Movement Integration to help people start exploring new possibilities of being.
After years working in the publishing industry, Sarita was inspired to leave and explore a path that focused on improving overall health through therapeutic bodywork and stress reduction. She obtained her massage therapy license in Connecticut and New York over 10 years ago, and has been furthering her education ever since. Also a certified Reiki master, Sarita continues to study CranioSacral Therapy, reflexology, myofacial release, aromatherapy, and shamanic healing. She specializes in hot stone massage and common rotator cuff injuries.
Nina-Kanokwan Jatuparisuthiseen was introduced to massage therapy at the age of 7 in her homeland, Thailand. She graduated from Connecticut Center of Massage therapy in 2009, and now uses thai massage, sport massage, and deep tissue massage to regularly improve performance, reduce pain, prevent injury, encourage focus, and shorten recovery time. Nina lives an active lifestyle herself, and has found massage therapy and meditation essential to maintain a healthy mind and body, and to deliver positive energy from her mind through her hands. Nina has continued her education at the International Training Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and is also a board-certified therapist by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Kassandra has always had a passion for helping people which is what led her to massage therapy. She graduated from Keiser University in Daytona Beach, FL with an associates degree in Massage Therapy in 2008. Her main goal for every session is to be effective; to find what works for each client. She specializes in Prenatal, Swedish and deep tissue massages. She is also certified in SMRT (Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique) for the low back, hips and abdominals.
Christina received her massage therapy license from Florida College of Natural Health in Pompano Beach, FL in 2004 and has been a member of AMTA since 2008. She brings a wealth of knowledge to each of her sessions for those clients seeking pain relief or simply looking to RELAX, UNWIND and SEEK GOOD HEALTH through regular massage. She recently started incorporating mindfulness into her work. Intentionally bringing both herself and her clients into the present moment through breath work, allows them to work together in relieving tension and stress. This in turn, empowers her clients in their ability to bring about their own healing. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pregnancy, Hot Stone and Pain Relief Massage. Nancy Byrne is a Licensed Acupuncturist and certified Yamuna Body Rolling practitioner. Nancy is passionate about teaching others how to relieve their own pain, by finding space through aligning the body. She believes in inspiring healing by empowering others through education.
Alex is a licensed massage therapist who has been practicing for the last 2 years. After graduating from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, she has since worked with acupuncturists, chiropractors and yoga instructors. She has experience in swedish, deep tissue, acupressure, sports massage and orthopedic assessment. While in school to become licensed in massage therapy, Alex discovered yoga. Both the stress of school and large interest in the human body helped her turn to yoga. After realizing the effect it had on her body, mind and spirit Alex decided to pursue it further and studied 200 hours of yoga school earning her teaching certificate. Blending her expertise as a massage therapist with her skills as a yoga teacher make for wonderful massage focused on easing the whole person.
Jenny is a certified Reiki practitioner who melds a suite of techniques into her sessions, tailoring her energy work to each individual client. Jenny spent three years in East and Southeast Asia studying, practicing and teaching yoga, meditation,and Buddhist philosophy in various contexts. She holds a Master's Degree in Buddhist Studies from the University of Hong Kong and is currently a final semester student at the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences in New York City, where she specializes in Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Polarity. Jenny's treatments address overall stress levels and bring more cohesion and integration to her client's bodies and lives, deepening their spiritual and physical connections both within themselves and with the world around them.
