Right now, before the holiday season, allow yourself to take a pause. It's a well known fact that sleep deficit takes a major toll on our physical and mental health. Yoga can be a wonderful sleep aid without the side effects of medications. This workshop will provide participants with a practical "to do" kit, that offers an alternative approach to insomnia. It is a quiet, slow 2 hour workshop, that is appropriate for all levels of participants.
For maximum effect of release and elevation of the parasympathetic system in the body, the workshop will include a light flow of vinyasa geared to help the body to digest, ground, release and eventually relax and let go. In addition participants will learn about their personal breathing patterns and will be guided how to use the breath to their relevant needs. Towards the end of the workshop there will be a guided simple yoga nidra sequence, as well as a guided meditation.
