In this workshop, you will discover how to use the wall to increase balance, strength and range of motion. By using the support of the wall and its props, students will be able to experience a deeper exploration of the principles of alignment and muscular engagements required in many common yoga postures, including standing postures, forward bends and twists.
With the wall as a learning tool, it becomes easier to find and strengthen target muscles. At the same time, you will also begin to release and “let go” of the muscles that may be blocking you from reaching a deeper level of experience in your yoga postures. This “new” knowledge will allow you to create more spacious openings in your poses, building energy and confidence into your yoga practice.
This workshop is open to all levels.
