Are you spending too much time in “text-and-laptop asana”? Come join Mike in discovering deep stretches and yoga postures that will help you release tension and open those tight muscles in the neck and shoulders.
Over time, your daily activities – texting, typing, carrying children or heavy objects - slowly increases the amount of tension that you carry in your upper back, neck and shoulders. Gradually, we become so accustomed to this upper body tension, that the stiffness and minor aches and pains begin to feel “normal”.
In this workshop, you will discover how to:
Relieve that chronic tension in your neck and shoulders
Offset the effects of internal rotation and rounded shoulders
Increase your range of motion and improve your posture
After this workshop, you will be “armed” with the tools you can use daily to release the muscles of your neck and shoulders and bring greater support and stability to your practice and everyday activities.
