Your New Year's resolution - sleeping better at night with Yoga Nidra.
A new year is a wonderful opportunity to start afresh and commit to better habits. Make it a new year's resolution to take better care of yourself and allow yourself to de-stress through mind and body relaxation.
It's a well known fact that a lack of sleep takes a major toll on our physical and mental health. Yoga can be a wonderful aid to help sleep better without the side effects of medications.
The workshop enables participants to experience how to allow the body and mind to relax and release. We will provide participants with a practical "to do" kit, that offers an alternative solution to the challenge of insomnia.
It is a quiet, slow by nature, 2 hour workshop, that is appropriate for all levels of participants.
For maximum effect of release and elevation of the parasympathetic system in the body, It will include a light vinyasa flow geared to helping the body to digest, ground, release and to eventually relax and let go. In addition participants will learn about their personal breathing patterns and will be guided how to use the breath to relax and let fo. Towards the end of the workshop there will be a guided yoga nidra sequence, as well as a guided mediation.
