Arm balances can be quite a scary thing for most of us, but with the help of an aerial hammock what seemed impossible becomes safe and accessible. This workshop is geared towards learning how to safely and with proper alignment get into three of the most challenging poses yet most desired ones: Headstand, Forearmstand, and Handstand.
We'll utilize the hammock to warm up and condition all the parts of the body necessary to get us into these positions, so fear can melt away. Requirements: Some experience using the aerial hammock, and willingness to be playful and have fun.
Cautions / Contraindications: Any major recent wrist, shoulder, and cervical spine injuries or surgeries, as well as common contraindications for Aerial Yoga.
